Rybelsus is a prescription medication used to manage blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It's an oral medication containing the active ingredient semaglutide, which belongs to a class of drugs called GLP-1 receptor agonists.
Vyvanse®
Vyvanse (lisdexamphetamine) is part of a group of medicines called stimulants. If you have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), this medicine can help increase attention and decrease impulsiveness (acting without thinking) and hyperactivity. If you have binge eating disorder, it can help you to overeat less often.
Contrave®
Contrave contains a combination of two different drugs, bupropion and naltrexone. This medication is thought to work by adjusting the brain's appetite and reward centers, which can help reduce hunger and cravings.
Phentermine
Phentermine (Adipex-P®, Lomaira®) is a prescription medicine used to lessen appetite. It can help weight loss by making you less hungry. Or it can help you feel full longer.

FDA-approved use for managing blood glucose levels in adults. Medications like Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Mounjaro help improve insulin sensitivity and reduce A1c levels.Especially effective in patients with obesity or insulin resistance.

Wegovy and Zepbound are FDA-approved for long-term weight loss. Typically prescribed for adults with: BMI ≥ 30 (obesity), orBMI ≥ 27 (overweight) with weight-related conditions like high blood pressure or cholesterol. Support weight loss through appetite suppression and delayed gastric emptying.
Cardiovascular Risk Reduction
Wegovy is FDA-approved to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death in adults with obesity and established heart disease. These medications improve multiple cardiometabolic markers, including blood pressure, inflammation, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea
Zepbound is newly FDA-approved (2024) for moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea in adults with obesity. Weight loss with these medications can significantly reduce airway obstruction during sleep and improve oxygenation.

During you first visit you'll meet with our expert provider, who will ask about your current symptoms, personal and medical history, and weight loss goals. Due to the restrictions of having these medications covered by your insurance, we'll have to make sure you meet the health requirements for your insurance to consider covering the medication.
Diagnosis
Based on a simple evaluation and a review of your medical history, your provider can provide a diagnosis and begin your treatment plan.
Personalized Treatment Plan
You'll work closely with your provider to develop a customized plan to manage your symptoms. If medication is appropriate, your provider will explain your options, discussing the benefits and potential side effects of each.
